The Spanish Riding School: The First Four Hundred Years is a superbly filmed documentary on the history, tradition, and performance of these noble animals. The fully-trained Lippizan stallion representing the Spanish Riding School is as much a product of Baroque high artistic achievement as any work of sculpture, painting, or architecture in the world today.

The Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria, is the only remaining riding institute in the world where classical dressage in its purest form is still taught and cherished.

The School is the home of the world renowned Lippizan stallions, and has been in continued existence since 1580.
