The Grand Prix de Dressage is the final step of training of a dressage horse. Piaffe and passage, including the steps between, should show the highest level grade of the "classical school." Other important parts and steps of this exercise show that the horse has reached its full dressage ability trusting in the harmonic aid of the rider.
