This is the story of North America’s Wild Mustangs and how they are managed on the vast open plains. Each year a certain number are rounded up and these wild animals are transformed into amenable riding horses. In the states of Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Nevada and Colorado, 40,000 wild horses have their domain.

This film shows how this is done from herding the horses across the plains into corrals, how they are “joined up,” managed in captivity, broken and ridden away.

A fascinating study of horsemanship in the raw.
