Palm Partnership Training is proud to present this video series, Exercises for Equestrians! These videos will help you become a stronger, more supple, and flexible rider. Confidence in your riding will increase as you become more balanced on your horse. The more you use these exercises the more you will relax your body, allowing you to relax your mind. This is the first step to gaining a more responsive horse! Remember that riding is support for all ages of riders. Being in good physical shape results in precise control of our bodies!

In Part One I will give you basic stretching exercises to do before riding and while riding under saddle. They are for all levels of riders. Start here before you progress through the more challenging exercises in Parts Two and Three. In this video you will find exercises for stretching the back muscles and upper leg muscles to gain more flexibility in the hip, knee, and ankle joints. These areas are most essential to improve balance or just to loosen up and allow relaxation!

The following exercises are not designed for the very beginner rider. You have to be able to maintain basic balance at the walk and trot and know how to turn and stop. The ground stretching exercises will help everyone! Have lots of fun with doing these exercises!
