Mike Scott has been an AMTA member since 1985. Since that time, he has worked with many athletes, professional as well as amateur. In 1986, he has started developing his skill and awareness of Equine Massage/Muscle Therapy. Since then, he has enjoyed a successful practice along the East Coast. His experience spans over a decade working with human and equine clients. Some highlights include working a World Championship meet, 2 Olympic Trials, 5 Boston Marathons and numerous other events and shows.

Mike is perhaps best recognized by his commitment in sharing his knowledge and referrals with others in the equine industry as well as with his clients and students. This helps the horse through a ‘Team’ effort.

Through his teaching, Mike stresses the importance of taking the time needed with each horse, and the necessity of treating each one as an individual, working within their means.
