Segment 2 outlines the position of the rider and demonstrates the use of aids (legs, hands, weight, crop and reins). He then brings the students through the walk, trot, and canter. This segment also introduces more extensive flat work (including bending, shoulder-in, hunches-end, schooling ring movements, simple changes, and flying changes).
