Philippe Karl trains in the true French classical manne and he is a true master. His videos clearly demonstrate his skills and also his kindness to the horse. It helps to have a good background in the classical manner in order to understand everything here as most of it is not basic, but SO worth viewing. I would like to see a series done by him demonstrating a slightly more basic and step by step fashion for the benefit of riders who may not really understand some of the French concepts and/or are at a more beginning level. Terrific series.

This is a wonderful series and this disc was a very fitting way to end it. I enjoyed watching the progress of the horses a year later, and listening to Philippe Karl talk about their progress. I really like the way he rides and describes what he is doing, and why he is doing it. his training circle at the beginning was very good and I copied the diagram down for future reference. As always picture and sound quality are wonderful on this dvd. A joy to watch.
