This is a video of a well done clinic. Meredith M-B focusses on getting the riders to think through what they're doing. She wants them working to perfect 4 basics ... going foward, coming back, turning right, and turning left. She points out that the reason jumpers do advanced flatwork is to perfect those 4 basics, and those basics are what's essential to riding courses. The clinic participants are well mounted Young Riders. The course was fairly technical and presented issues for all of the riders. Merideth didn't present any sports psych techniques, but advocated studying and using such techniques. She just kept the riders thinking by prodding them with the question 'What are you doing?'.
