A lovely DVD with more practical advice and exercises than her first one (which is also good, but more inspirational, rather than applicable). I really enjoyed the piece on exercises to straighten the crooked horse. Quiet, gentle and correct riding.

Anja Beran's 2nd volume of EDT is as good as the 1st: happy horses and tactful, classical training. It's nice to see horses enjoying their training enough to relax. Beran emphasizes the relaxation factor, and time and time again reminds the viewer not to punish the horse for being forward at any point. I never saw her raise a hand, or heard her raise her voice, at a horse. Instead, I heard her speak her praise to the horse virtually every 30 seconds while working with it And the absence of flashes and auxiliary reins on her horses was wonderful. I'm waiting eagerly for the 3rd volume!

I really like this whole series. They have a unique way of training and I find it very refreshing . I may not want to train this way completely, but I will certainally add things I have seen into my program. This training #2 DVD has been my favorite of the series so far. Excellent if you are just starting your horse towards Dressage.
