I cannot say enough good about Ingrid Klimke. Her riding is pure and time-proven and she far outshines anyone in the modern competitive arena. That said, this DVD is a "must-see". Calvetti work is SO important to the developing horse, regardless of discipline. Her methods are clear and concise, the translator is VERY easy to understand (I'm hearing impaired) and her equipment is envious :)

This might be the best equestrian DVD I've ever seen. The information is clear & precise, with enough detail to easily reproduce at home. The horses are lovely but not perfect--they make mistakes, and we see how to deal with that. The work is progressive, from exercises suitable to young horses just starting training through advanced dressage and jumpers. Production quality matches the quality of the information. Sound is clear and of consistent volume, speakers are easy to understand, the camera view is steady with good lighting, cuts are smooth. A refreshing change from too many of the productions out there. Oh, and the dogs are adorable ;-)

Ingrid Klimke picks up where her father left off with his "Cavaletti" video that was recorded ages ago. She provides the ultimate in cavaletti instruction. I own this DVD and love it. This DVD contains valuable instruction presented in a clear format . I was astonished to see that someone thought it deserved one star. Upon reading their review, I discovered that the rating of one star was because she/he was unable to play the DVD. What a shame that this wonderful DVD got a review from someone who didn't even watch it.
