How does the rental program work? You choose which titles you'd like to rent. It's sent to you in a 2way postage paid return mailer via the United States Postal Service (USPS) first class mail. When you're ready to return the DVD, insert the DVD in the return mailer and drop it in any mailbox. There are several monthly rental subscriptions to choose: One at a Time, MonthlyDuo, and TriPack. What are the various subscription plans?
You may have the DVD as long as you like up to the subscription plan limit. For example, with the Monthly Duo (2) two DVD subscription, you may have (2) two DVDs in your possession during a 30 day billing period; new titles from your queue are mailed when a DVD is returned. Should you choose to keep a DVD for a longer period than the billing cycle it will count as one of the titles in your subscription limit; e.g. in a 30 day billing period it's possible that you will receive (1) one new title because you chose to keep one of the titles longer than 30 days. Can I purchase DVDs? At this time we offer a rental based service. In the next phase of our development DVDs will be available for purchase. You will have the option to purchase a brand new shrink wrapped DVD as well as the ability to "purchase my rental copy". We will also offer from time to time discounts on previously viewed titles and clearance specials in the Run-In Shed. Without a doubt you'll want to visit the Run-In Shed often for the latest bargains. How long will it take to receive my DVD? All DVDs are mailed no later than the next business day by USPS first class mail from Milford, NH. The USPS estimates first class delivery within 2-5 days. Occasionally postal delays do occur and your DVD may take longer to arrive. My DVD hasn't arrived. Now what? We certainly understand that things happen. Sometimes mail gets lost and is not delivered. If a title we show as shipped never arrives or one that you have placed in the mail does not show up as being checked in, please call customer service toll free at 1-866-781-5034 or send us an email at accounts@barnsweetbarndvds.com and we'll rectify the problem. What if I receive a DVD that won't play or was damaged in the mail? If you receive an unplayable DVD, please report it to us right away. We'll immediately send out a replacement. Just login to "My Account" choose report a problem, DVD arrived broken or unplayable. The DVD I received skips or sticks frequently when played. What do I do? When a DVD skips or gets stuck at a particular spot it is generally due to debris on the disc's surface. BarnSweetBarn regularly inspects all of our DVDs and perform a routine cleaning of their surfaces. If you do however receive a disc that skips or freezes, please include a note on the DVD's protective sleeve when you return it so that we can investigate it ourselves. Often, just gently wiping the surface of the DVD with a clean soft cloth away from the center of the disc (never in a circular motion) solves the problem. Also, a dirty lens in the player or some other technical problem with the player may cause skipping and/or freezing. If we find a disc that has been damaged in some way it will be removed from our inventory and replaced. I lost the prepaid return envelope. How do I return the DVD? Notify us and we'll send you a return mailer. Alternatively, you may mail back the DVD to BarnSweetBarnDVDs.com, Distribution Center, 136 Comstock Drive, Milford, NH 03055. Be sure to use an envelope that offers sufficient protection for the DVD and with the correct postage affixed. If you have a second mailer, two DVDs may be inserted in a single mailer to be sent back to us. Be sure sufficient postage is affixed to cover the additional weight of the second DVD. I lost the DVD or damaged it now what? We are well aware that even with the best of intentions a DVD may get lost or destroyed while it's checked out to you. Please call customer service toll free at 1-866-781-5034 or send us an email at accounts@barnsweetbarndvds.com and we'll handle the situation on a case by case basis. Can I pay by check or be billed in the mail? Not at this time. We require a valid credit card for every subscription plan. This is necessary to verify account information, secure orders, and prevent fraud. What is my "Rental Queue"? Your rental queue is the list of DVDs you've selected to rent. You may update and edit your rental queue at any time. We recommend that you always have 10-15 titles in your rental queue. That way you'll always have a video ready and available to be sent out to you. We make every effort to send out DVDs in your rental queue as you have prioritized them. Occasionally your first choice may not be available. We'll send out your second or third choice, we want to ensure that you have a great DVD to watch. The description of the DVD indicates that the title is a 2 disc set; does that count as 1 or 2 rentals? Single titles that have 2 discs are considered 1 rental.
