A thrilling Rolex FEI World Cup™ Jumping Final 2011 was fought out in the magnificent Leipzig Messe, Germany and the home nation saw victory secured by their own Christian Ahlmann and the 11 year old Galoubet A stallion Taloubet Z, a horse who has had a meteoric rise to the top.

Olympic champion Eric Lamaze (CAN) and his brilliant Hickstead, defied statistics by rocketing up the leader board from 17th to 2ndand Holland’s Jeroen Dubbeldam rose from 11th to 3rd on BMC van Grunsven Simon.

Taloubet Z only lowered one pole in 5 demanding rounds of jumping after the leaders on the final day, Marco Kutscher and Cash, faultess after 4 rounds, were distracted by the chattering crowds and had 3 down to drop to equal 4th, at a cost of some €30,000.
